Staff & Training

Nurturing and maintaining great team culture has been a consistent focus for 4id. The 4id heartbeat lies within the remarkable team that fuels our success and this is evident from the dedication and commitment our employee's display. Our staff are proactively supported through leadership development, upskilling and training to meet the changing needs of the business. Many of our employees from the local Central Coast area started at 4id untrained in printing, processing and RFID technologies. The team are all excited in their own pathway for growth and opportunity.

Smart & Sustainable Solutions

Working with innovative partners around the world, 4id is constantly looking to embrace opportunities for novel and sustainable applications and products which offer that little something extra. To this end 4id is working with partners to promote sensor enabled RFID products which can be used to confirm tamper/authenticity or wirelessly report temperature, strain, humidity, and light to name a few. Working towards a sustainable RFID future, 4id is looking to bring cutting edge approved compostable/biodegradable antenna printing capabilities to Australia.

To achieve the greatest sustainability benefit, RFID is best applied at the point of manufacture/growth for full lifecycle traceability, and these organisations are the focus for 4id’s future.

Sensing the Future of Contactless Technologies

As sensor enabled technology evolves to meet demands for traceability, transparency and efficiencies, the value of this technology has become greater than ever.

In response to this, an inaugural forum has been planned by 4id to host our first ‘Smart Sensing Summit’, in November 2023. At the heart of this event is a collaborative opportunity for 4id and its esteemed partners, global experts in their field, to unlock perceived industry applications for consideration and viability assessment, with the aim to deliver premium passive sensor solutions to industry.

This unique event marks a pivotal moment in the realm of contactless technologies, where innovation knows no boundaries.

This Summit has been designed to foster collaboration and pave the way for the seamless commercialisation of opportunities, both existing and new.  We are assembling a network of expertise, innovation, and ambition.

Embarking on the Next Chapter

4id is looking to expand its customer base in Australia and enhance its profile to attract clients seeking advanced RFID manufacturing solutions rather than just item-level tagging. We have successfully developed advanced RFID manufacturing systems and processes, positioning 4id with the technical expertise, comprehensive understanding of the technologies involved, and essential partnerships to provide integrated, ready-to-implement offerings.

4id has positioned itself as a specialised converter of customised products for a vast range of industries. Our modest profile means there is limited awareness of our capability, and we realise the need to align ourselves with entities that have an established credibility and presence that will assist in introducing our capabilities. 4id welcomes your assistance in making direct or indirect introductions to companies that can utilize our unique connections and capabilities, especially in situations where the following capabilities are required:

  • Complete supply chain visibility

  • Sustainable technology options

  • Product authenticity

  • Tamper detection

  • Traditional RFID application

4id is specifically targeting the following industry sectors:

  • Government regulation & compliance

  • Pharmaceutical

  • Defence

  • Healthcare & medical devices

  • Freight & logistics

  • Industrial

  • Construction

RFID adoption in Australia is poised for significant growth, with the goal to drive industry innovation and improve operational efficiencies on a large scale.

Our current facility is 1,400 square metres and has a 680 million tag capacity, with space to double production supported by our centralised data management hub and Quality Assured Certification. Item level tagging with the capability of high-end manufacturing.

We are poised to double our size and are great advocates for upskilling & creating employment. There is a requirement for industry collaboration, and we acknowledge the work of S3B and Investment NSW in helping to move the industry forward.

4id is encouraging those interested in RFID to participate and benefit from a collaborative approach to industry development.

As 4id are based in Australia, what is equally impressive is their ability to turn around production and design requests for our clients and have quick delivery to the USA for short term events. This gives our clients much more agility.
